The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University, jointly with IEEE-Oman Section, in the Sultanate of Oman organize the 2009 International Conference on Communication, Computer and Power (ICCCP'09) during the period February 15-18, 2009 at Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman.

Come and join us in ICCCP'09. It is your chance to discover the beauty of Oman. There will be very exciting social events and trips during the conference.


Selected high quality papers will be published in The Journal of Engineering Research (TJER) (www.tjer.net) or in Mediterranean Journal of Electronics and Communications (MEDJEC) (http://www.medjec.com). 



Paper Submission Instructions: Authors are invited to submit  online their full papers written in English and formatted as indicated at the website (Authors ). Only electronic papers submissions in Microsoft Word, PDF, or Postscript formats are accepted. Make sure that you register as an author before you upload your paper. Just follow the links after you click on the left menu item 'Authors '.

Accepted papers will have to be resubmitted online using the ICCCP'09 Papers' Template in MSWord  which can be downloaded  from here.


Industrial Sessions: These target industrial engineering applications and innovations. Engineers from Industry are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to present their novel applications and developments by submitting an extended abstract or a paper.


Poster Session: A student’s forum at the conference will be included in a poster session for the exchange of ideas, findings, and experience among students, engineers, and industrialists. This will offer a good opportunity for students to receive valuable feedback on their work from specialists. This forum will also provide a chance for industrialists, students and academicians to explore venues of cooperation in activities of mutual interests in research and development. Interested students should submit a one-page abstract and prepare later a poster according to the template available at the conference website.
 
Keynotes: at least four keynote addresses will be delivered by internationally well known experts in the field of Electrical & Computer Engineering.
 
Tutorial Sessions: Tutorial sessions will be organized, during the conference, in different fields of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
